Summary/Objective:
The Working Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shipping, receiving, and material handling operations in a water and ice kiosk assembly plant while actively participating in hands-on tasks.
This role ensures efficient workflow, accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The Working Lead supports and guides a small team, promotes productivity, and serves as the first point of contact for operational issues on the floor.
Compensation: +$4/hour from current rate.

The Working Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shipping, receiving, and material handling operations in a water and ice kiosk assembly plant while actively participating in hands-on tasks.
This role ensures efficient workflow, accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The Working Lead supports and guides a small team, promotes productivity, and serves as the first point of contact for operational issues on the floor.

Essential Functions:
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of shipping, receiving, and material handling associates.
- Perform hands-on work including loading/unloading, picking, packing, staging, and inventory movement.
- Ensure accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper tracking, cycle counts, and system updates.
- Prioritize and assign tasks to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines.
- Train, coach, and support team members to improve performance and efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols, proper equipment use, and housekeeping standards (5S).
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to resolve material or workflow issues.
- Monitor workflow and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with reporting, documentation, and basic administrative duties related to operations.
- Regular and predictable attendance for required schedule.
- Follow safety guidelines and act in a safe manner.

- Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Use of PPE as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or logistics training preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing operations.
- 5+ years of leadership or team lead experience is preferred.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow processes.
- Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and basic inventory systems.
- Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS systems a plus).
- Manufacturing/assembly plant environment.
- Exposure to varying temperatures and industrial equipment.
