We currently have an opening for an experienced electronics repair specialist that will also provide phone support to our field operators.

The work location is in Brighton. Besides weekend on call duty, this is not a remote work position.

The qualified candidate is an experienced, organized, task oriented and dedicated individual with excellent follow-through on detail to assigned tasks as well as a proven problem solver with great communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides specialized guidance to field operators concerning the repair and operation of our water / ice vending kiosks.
  • Participates in the root cause analysis and board level repairs of various Watermill components. Includes de-soldering / soldering of capacitors, resistors, ICs, etc. on PCBAs.
  • Conducts station alert / performance monitoring via internal computer software programs.
  • Provides specialized assistance to the manufacturing department as needed.
  • Will require rotation of weekend monitoring and support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in standard analytical trouble-shooting techniques with various remote personnel over the phone to diagnose and resolve.
  • Ability to communicate and follow through with individuals and/or groups as needed to resolve equipment issues.
  • Electronics, PCBA board level repair experience, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills are essential both hands on and technical.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics.
  • Team player with positive attitude.
  • Ability to represent company in a professional manner through actions and communication.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Acceptable work attendance to perform job.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Education, Experience and Certificate:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Training or certification in the diagnosis and repair of DC electronics / circuits.
  • AC electrical maintenance, repair, or similar education or equivalent experience.
